Vet Planet Clinic has recently introduced a 32-slice CT scanner, expanding its diagnostic capabilities and further enhancing the clinic’s medical equipment.
CT scans provide detailed imaging of different parts of the body and are particularly valuable in complex cases, including critically ill patients, neurological and orthopaedic conditions, and the diagnosis and monitoring of cancer. CT imaging can also play an important role in assessing injuries, fractures, intervertebral disc herniation, joint disorders, and changes affecting internal organs and blood vessels.
The scan is quick and is performed under short-acting general anaesthesia to ensure the patient remains still and high-quality images can be obtained.
The introduction of CT diagnostics marks another important step in expanding Vet Planet Clinic’s diagnostic capabilities, particularly in complex and emergency cases where a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s condition is essential for timely decision-making.
